New HBR Article: The Art of Discounting

I am pleased to share my new Harvard Business Review article titled, “The Art of Discounting” (click here for the article).
My central point is that managers often view discounts as a white flag surrender that their current price is not attracting enough customers. In contrast, a well-thought-out discounting strategy can activate dormant customers, generating new profits and growth.
